Paraná Tecnologia, Tecpar and Fiep were also recognized
Smart Energy – International Conference on Smart Energy, which took place at the end of September at Fiep's Industrial Campus in Curitiba, received the I-REC (International Renowable Energy Certificate) certification, which attests to the clean origin of the energy consumed during its event. The same recognition was granted to Rede Paraná Tecnologia e Metrologia, Tecpar and the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná: “The institutions stand out for their initiatives and inspiring examples of environmental responsibility, for their commitment to neutralizing greenhouse gas emissions and for their continuous search for sustainable practices. They are worthy of admiration and recognition”, is the text that appears on the commemorative plaque, presented by Electra Comercializadora de Energia to the CEO of Tecpar and event promoter, Celso Kloss.
The honor also highlights that by granting the I-REC certification to the event, “the commitment to sustainability, innovation and well-being for the planet” is celebrated. The award ceremony took place on the 26th, the last day of the conference.
