Huasun Energy has unveiled its new Himalaya 760 HV heterojunction (HJT) solar module, delivering a nominal output of 760 W, a conversion efficiency of 24.5%, and the industry’s first 2000 V system voltage rating marking a significant milestone in the commercialization of ultra-high-power solar modules.

The launch event brought together senior executives, technical experts, and industry partners. Chairman Xu Xiaohua stated that the photovoltaic sector is entering a new stage where system-level cost reduction and lifecycle value have become the central drivers of competitiveness. The 760 W module was specifically developed for large utility-scale and desert-based solar plants, where high-power output and high-voltage operation unlock maximum economic performance.

2000 V System Voltage Delivers Proven Plant-Level Benefits
By raising system voltage from the industry-standard 1500 V to 2000 V, the Himalaya 760 HV creates new opportunities for optimization at the power-plant level. In a 100 MVA utility project in Hami, Xinjiang, simulation results show that compared with a 1500 V system, the 2000 V configuration:
Reduces BOS costs by approximately RMB 0.1157/W
Cuts foundation pile requirements by more than 5,000 units
Significantly improves land-use efficiency
Additional comparative analysis shows that an HJT 760 W (2000 V) system, when compared with a TOPCon 725 W (1500 V) configuration, delivers:
BOS cost reduction of RMB 0.1521/W
Approximate BOS savings of 11.95%
Project IRR increase of 0.86 percentage points
These system-level advantages translate directly into substantially higher returns on investment for large-scale solar power plants.
Advanced Module Design for High Efficiency and Reliable Mass Production
The Himalaya 760 HV incorporates several structural and manufacturing enhancements, including:
132 half-cell dual-string architecture
Large-format silicon wafers
Negative-spacing design and high screen coverage
95.8% active-area ratio
Approximately 20 W additional power gain and 0.66% efficiency improvement

To ensure safety under ultra-high-voltage operation, the module adopts an innovative butyl edge-sealing process, providing enhanced insulation without compromising efficiency or active-area utilization. The module is also fully compatible with existing high-efficiency production lines, requiring only minor stringer adjustments — enabling rapid scale-up with high yield and manufacturing stability.
Commercial Orders Secured at Launch
During the event, the 760 W module secured its first commercial supply agreements with partners including Anhui Guoding Construction and Abdullah Reabi Company, demonstrating strong market demand from day one and readiness for large-scale deployment.

A New Platform for the Next Stage of Utility-Scale Solar
With its combination of 760 W ultra-high power, 24.5% efficiency, and 2000 V system voltage, the Himalaya 760 HV sets a new benchmark for next-generation utility PV systems. The platform delivers measurable improvements in BOS costs, project IRR, and lifecycle energy yield.
“760 W is not an endpoint, but a new starting point,” Chairman Xu stated at the launch. “This platform will continue to evolve toward higher power, higher efficiency, and higher value, supporting the long-term transformation of global clean energy.”
