Atibaia, April 23, 2025 — Huasun Brasil, a global leader in solar technology, is making strides by restructuring its team in Brazil to meet the increasing demands of the sector. Vinicius Luiz, Huasun's Country Manager, shared his enthusiasm for this new phase of the company during a recent conversation in our studio.
The discussion centered around Heterojunction technology (HJT), which promises to revolutionize solar panel efficiency. "I am impressed with what HJT technology can offer, not just globally but especially in Brazil, where this technology is still considered novel," Vinicius stated. He emphasized the importance of differentiating the available solar modules in the market, correcting the misconception that they are all the same.

Delving deeper, Vinicius clarified that Huasun was founded with the exclusive goal of developing HJT technology, which combines amorphous silicon cells with monocrystalline cells. "This innovative approach not only reduces panel degradation but also maximizes energy generation, resulting in a photovoltaic plant with a longer lifespan and better financial returns for investors," he explained.

While HJT technology is already well-established in Europe and the United States, its introduction in Brazil marks a crucial turning point. The expert pointed out that the experience gained since 2016, when the Brazilian solar market began to take off, is essential for industry professionals to understand the competitive advantages of this new technology.

"HJT panels can generate up to 18% more energy compared to traditional models, resulting in less degradation and, consequently, lower operational costs over time," Vinicius noted. He also discussed seasonal efficiency, which can reach up to 30%, in cases where Huasun is investing in the research and development of Perovskite cells.

Another highlighted aspect was Huasun's commitment to sustainable practices. The company uses a less energy-intensive manufacturing process, reducing the carbon footprint compared to traditional methods. "With just four to five production steps, we can minimize the environmental impact, something increasingly valued in tenders worldwide," Vinicius stated.
As Brazil progresses towards a cleaner energy matrix, Huasun positions itself as a market leader. "We are focused not only on delivering high-quality products but also on educating and empowering professionals and consumers about the advantages of HJT technology," he concluded.
As the demand for solar energy continues to grow in Brazil, Huasun offers a promising alternative, challenging industry norms and demonstrating that the future of solar energy is here.
