São Paulo, May 5, 2025 — GoodWe, a global leader in photovoltaic solutions, in partnership with integrator Garantia Solar, announces the first installation of its innovative Galaxy Series BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) panel in Brazil. The project was implemented at the NIC.br building, a national reference in internet infrastructure.
With an installed capacity of 20.1 kWp, the project consolidates GoodWe's commitment to providing innovative BIPV solutions that combine energy efficiency and architectural design.
The Galaxy Series stands out for its ultra-lightweight design (5.6 kg/m²), no-penetration installation, and high impact resistance, making it ideal for buildings with low load-bearing capacity and sensitive waterproofing. Each module can be installed in just 3 minutes, significantly reducing installation time and cost.
Rafael Carvalho, BIPV Manager at GoodWe, stated: "This installation at NIC.br marks an important step in integrating solar energy into Brazilian urban architecture. The Galaxy Series offers an aesthetic and efficient solution for modern buildings."
According to Ricardo Scarpi, owner of Garantia Solar emphasized the strategic choice for the Galaxy Series: "When we visited the roof where the plant would be installed, we realized that the conventional ballast system would not align with NIC.br’s aesthetic and quality standards. The Galaxy Series, with its lightweight and innovative design, provided complete waterproofing and integrated seamlessly into the project."
Garantia Solar, renowned for its expertise in BIPV projects, was responsible for executing the work, ensuring perfect integration between technology and architecture.
